Archer Sportscars are delighted to have for sale a beautiful Porsche 911 (997.2) Carrera GTS finished in Basalt Black metallic paint over black leather and alcantara upholstery. This particular example is fitted with the wonderful six speed manual gearbox, which is a variant of this model that is becoming increasingly rare and collectible.

Originally registered in July 2011, it has covered just 22,400 miles from new and benefits from a full service history from official Porsche Centres and highly respected independent Porsche specialists. The condition of both the bodywork and the 19" RS Spyder centre lock wheels is nothing short of excellent and all four Pirelli P Zero N rated tyres have plenty of remaining tread.

As a final hurrah to the last of the 997 series of 911, Porsche adorned the GTS with a number of desirable and driver focused options and wrapped it up in package that would have cost considerably more had you have added all of the options to a Carrera 2S. Most notably these options included 19” RS Spyder alloy wheels with centre lock fittings, PASM, front splitter and sills from the GT2, Sports Exhaust and the X51 Power Kit which raised the power output to 402 horsepower – a increase of 22 horsepower over the standard Carrera 2S.

Externally, the GTS sits on a wider rear track and wide body, and in rear wheel drive, this layout was normally reserved for GT3 and Motorsport models. Not only does the wide track and body add to the seductive appearance of this car, but it gives the car a subtlety different feel to the narrower bodied rear-drive Carrera S – you feel its wider stance and self-assured road holding.

Referring specifically back to this GTS, it was also specified with some factory fitted options over and above the standard GTS, namely, Heated Seats (front), Rear Park Assist, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Extended Navigation Module for PCM 3.0, Telephone Module, Universal Audio Interface and Wheels painted in exterior colour.
